MALAYSIA FASHION WEEK (MFW) IS BACK FOR ITS SECOND YEAR WITH A SERIES OF TRADE EVENTS AND FASHION SHOWS, SETTING THE STAGE FOR ITS DIVERSE FASHION INDUSTRY.

Held at Menara MATRADE in Kuala Lumpur from 4 November to 7 November 2015, MFW 2015 returns with “Inclusivity” as the theme of the year — a fitting headline that revolves around showcasing international participants and propelling promising, local talents on a global fashion scale.

The four-day event will witness a full schedule of a fashion/lifestyle trade exhibition, gala events and fashion shows featuring Spring/Summer 2016 collections.

One of the main highlights of MFW is the FACIT@INTRADE exhibition, a fashion/lifestyle trade show that will feature local and international designers, manufacturers and related players in Fashion, Art, Cosmetics, Interior and Textiles. The trade exhibition will also include a dedicated Muslimah fashion pavilion called MODEST-YLE, shining a spotlight on the country’s diverse culture through Sabah, Sarawak and Peranakan designs.

Feast your eyes on the works by celebrity designers Mizz Nina from The Madeena Shop, Hip hop performer Altimet from BENUA, Rozita Che Wan from Padusi Couture, and Yatt Hamza from SUCI.

MFW 2015 will also focus on engaging and incubating young creatives, introducing the Datuk Professor Jimmy Choo Education Program Awards, a joint collaboration with distinguished shoe couturier Jimmy Choo. One talented youth will win a coveted fashion mentorship with the fashion veteran in London.

Held at the Special Gallery Exhibition @ Level 3, the Datuk Professor Jimmy Choo Couture Gallery will present Jimmy Choo’s most celebrated designs and creations over the years.

The extravaganza will conclude with the prestigious Mercedes-Benz STYLO Asia Fashion Week (MBSAFW), the first ever Asia wide collaboration of top emerging designers in one media event. Keep your eyes peeled for the best designers from over 15 countries across the ASEAN and Asian region, including China, Korea, Japan, India, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Taiwan and Vietnam.

Malaysia Fashion Week will be held from 4 November to 7 November 2015 at Menara MATRADE, Jalan Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah 50480 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
